Giving Back

Our primary goal at My Kids Hollywood is to help children, whether that be in succeeding in show business or in life. We believe it is very important for everyone to give of themselves to help others in need.

Everyone at My Kids Hollywood wants to do their part to help children across the world so we have decided to give a portion of proceeds to various charities each year.

For 2007 we have selected the following organizations we will be donating to:

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. They have been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors children, ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country - including yours.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth.

If you have the time, make a difference and volunteer as a mentor. Many at MKH have volunteered as a Big and as I can personally attest to, it was an incredibly rewarding experience. We encourage everyone at MKH to participate or at least make a donation for their great work helping children.

The First Wish
The Make-A-Wish Foundation began in the USA in 1980 with the fulfillment of the first wish.

A 7-year-old boy with leukemia named Chris Greicius wished to be a policeman. His mother, several friends and a group of police officers, with the cooperation of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, granted his wish with a custom-made uniform, helmet, badge, and helicopter ride!

Read Chris’ complete wish story!

Global Reach
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has become the largest wish-granting organization in the world and can be found in more than 30 countries on five continents. Since its inception in 1980 the Foundation has granted more than 144,000 wishes around the world.

Every penny counts, so if you have a little extra take the time to make a child's wish come true!
